Labour Rural Research Group (LRRG) Documentary

It was a pleasure to represent Nuneaton in the Labour Rural Research Group's (LRRG) latest documentary, visiting Charles Goadby at Manor Farm to learn more about life on a working dairy farm.

From food production and animal welfare to supporting local jobs and protecting our rural landscape, farmers make an enormous contribution to our country.

I know what an important issue mental health is, and this is truer than ever in our agricultural sector. Farming can be incredibly rewarding, but it also comes with unique pressures and challenges. I was grateful to Charles for supporting this work and helping raise awareness of the support available through RABI for farmers and their families.
