I’m looking for a Constituency Assistant and Policy Caseworker to join my team.

This is a full-time role (37.5 hours) based in Nuneaton.

Key duties include:

  • Draft policy briefings on government policy, legislation, and consultations, identifying local impact and opportunities

  • Manage a caseload of policy enquiries, drafting responses and ensuring timely, accurate resolution

  • Support constituency casework during periods of high demand

  • Engage professionally with constituents via email, phone, social media, and face-to-face

  • Develop and support constituency campaigns, working with volunteers and stakeholders

  • Organise and deliver constituency events and MP surgeries

  • Draft policy communications across digital platforms

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local stakeholders

  • Monitor and respond to social media comments and casework enquiries

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a strong communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Have experience of handling casework or public enquiries

  • Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities effectively and work under pressure

  • Be able to analyse policy and present complex issues clearly

  • Have a good understanding of UK politics, and have strong IT and social media skills

A full UK driving licence and access to a car is desirable. Evening and weekend work may be required.
