I am excited to launch this year’s Christmas card competition, inviting all Early Years and Primary School-aged children across Nuneaton and the Villages to get creative and design my official Christmas card for 2025!
This year’s theme is “Christmas in Nuneaton” and it’s a chance for you to celebrate what makes the festive season special here in our town. Whether it’s the twinkling lights in the town centre, Santa and his sleigh over the town hall or building a snowman in Riversley Park, I can’t wait to see what Christmas means to you.
There will be three winners, one each from the Early Years (0-4 years), Infant (4-7 years) and Junior (7-11 years) age groups.
The winning designs will be printed on my official Christmas cards, which will be sent right across our community, and even to the Prime Minister.
The competition opens today and the last date for submissions is Monday 17th November. If you are sending your design by post, please ensure you allow enough time for it to get to me before then because I wouldn’t want to miss out on any of your amazing art.
The winners will be announced on Monday 24th November and will be invited to meet me at my Christmas Coffee Morning in December to receive their award.
The children should use the template provided below to design the card. Bold and bright designs will print best so please use coloured pens, pencils or paint but avoid 3D elements, such as glitter or cotton wool, because these won’t print well.
